Waving hello to Glumbags: UK pre-orders are open!

Here he is, Glumbags - but why is he here?

We want to introduce you to a curious blue fellow with indigo hair and boots made of lead. He’s a creature of few words but great actions. His name is Glumbags.

Glumbags appears in town one day, carrying two heavy black bags. The baker, the cabbie and the barber shut up shop or whizz past when they see him. The young boy can’t understand why people don’t want to go near Glumbags. The boy talks to his Granny Mags about Glumbags. He wonders who he is and what he’s doing in town. Granny Mags encourages the boy to go into town and ask his good questions.

It’s a story with love and kindness at heart. It’s about noticing what’s going on around us with an open mind. It’s about curiosity and openness to difference.

To celebrate UK pre-orders opening for his book, we asked Glumbags for an interview. He’s famously shy, however, so we haven’t heard back from him as yet.
